In-home personal care and attendant services support children and young adults with complex medical, developmental, or behavioral needs who require assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). As a children's home health provider, Angels of Care places trained home care aides with families so day-to-day routines stay manageable around a child's physical, cognitive, or behavioral needs.
ADLs include daily self-care tasks like bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene. IADLs are the broader skills tied to independence, including using the telephone, shopping, housekeeping, taking medications, and using transportation. Personal care services from Angels of Care help families meet these needs at home, often as part of state Medicaid programs that include attendant care for children with disabilities.
